The Cape Codder

In the August 19, 2011 issue of The Cape Codder, “Triple Bogey”, the sub-headline incorrectly stated that there was a “loss for the third consecutive year” at The Captains Golf Course in Brewster.

Rob Harris, Chairman of the Brewster Golf Commission, has written a letter to The Cape Codder to correct the facts.  You can read his response on his personal web site at www.GolfCommission.com

The Captains Golf Course: Setting the tone for great golf on Cape Cod

Here is a great article about The Captains Golf Course.  It was written by Scott Coen.  Scott is the News and Sports Feature Reporter for ABC40/Fox6 in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Greetings from Cape Cod.

If there’s one thing you can count on while visiting the Cape, it’s all the great golf courses there are to play.

And one of the best courses to play on Cape Cod is The Captains located in Brewster, Massachusetts.

The first thing you notice about The Captains is what great shape the golf course is in. There are two 18 hole layouts that make up the golf course, and despite the large volume of play this public golf course gets, the conditions the day I played were immaculate.
