Here is The Captains Log newsletter for July-August 2010.
In addition to articles from the staff, commission, and associations, there is a calendar of events for the months of July and August. Here you will find the designated “member course” of the day, tournament dates, and block times.
Tyler LaBonte was selected as the 2010 Captains Course Men’s Golf Association scholarship winner.
Tyler is from Brewster and was a four year member and captain of the Nauset Golf Team. He was the winner of the Captains Junior Golf Program in 2008 and 2009. Tyler is an Eagle Scout and was a member of the school band at Nauset High School.
Tyler will attend Westfield State in the fall and will pursue a double major in economics and political science. He also will work at Captains Golf course this summer.
Congratulations to Tyler, and we wish him the best as he continues his education this fall.

The CCMGA Member Directory is (finally) on the web site. You can see it by clicking on “Member Directory” in the “Helpful Information” section in the right column. You need a password to get to the directory, but it is the same as it was in the past. The username and password is a professional golfer’s name. His first name is the username, and his last name is the password (all lowercase letters).
If you are new or just don’t remember the passwords, that’s ok. Just ask by clicking on the “Contact Us” menu near the top of this page. You must be a member of the CCMGA to get the password!
Everyday at Captains Golf Course, there is a sale on something. Here is the Proshop Sales Calendar for the month of June 2010. These sales are good for anybody (not just members of the course).
The Captains Golf Course is located at 1000 Freemans Way, Brewster, MA 02631
